WELCOME TO DADS AND AUTISM
LEARN HOW TO STAY IN THE GAME |
| Dads And Autism is without a doubt a must-read for any parent,
care-giver, teacher and therapist who comes in daily contact with an
Autistic youngster. This much-needed book is written with a bold and
honest disclosure of a first-hand experience and generosity in sharing
carefully constructed knowledge of current research and theories on the
subject of Autism. The value of the book goes beyond personal
testimonial and education, because what is proposed here as a practical
training for Dads (and others) is in fact a necessary tool that may
have a positive impact on lives of real families. As a professional in
the field of Special Education, I would wholeheartedly recommend this
great read to any parent or colleague for its usefulness and humanity.

| Emerson Donnell uses his son as his teacher, about how a father can
prevail in the face of autism. Love and dedication inspired this
wonderful and helpful book about a father's journey to help his son
recover from autism. His book provides a wealth of easy to understand
information and helpful hints for other fathers and mothers. It is a
must read for parents struggling to break their children through
autism’s barriers.

| This book is a testimonial to what it takes to live with a child
with autism, and the need for parents to make it a team effort. My
grandson would not have made the emotional strides if it were not for
this book. Each parent needs to take responsibility for their part in
this process, but more importantly it gives parents a clear set of
strategies to help them restore a loving family. I would not only
recommend this book to parents with a newly diagnosed child, but also
to parents looking for new tactics to help their child become more
focused and affectionate.
Joanne Rice Hurd, grandparent of an autistic boy.
